The Hatcher and Shapiro Libraries' open houses will be held together at the Hatcher Library.
Event is open to all occupants of Hatcher and Shapiro Libraries.

Regulated Recycling at Hatcher Graduate Library and Shapiro Undergraduate Library
The following waste streams are regulated at the University of Michigan. These items CANNOT be disposed in the general trash and must be recycled.
BATTERIES – All types and sizes
Battery Bucket locations:
- Hatcher Graduate – Basement Room 2 (Facilities Office)
- Shapiro Library – 2nd Floor outside Room 2026 (near bathrooms)
LIGHT BULBS – All types and sizes, including compact fluorescent, UV, projector bulbs, high intensity discharge bulbs, mercury-vapor and incandescent bulbs

ELECTRONIC WASTE – All devices operated by electricity that contain circuit boards (i.e. anything with a cord, digital display or battery) such as computers and accessories, telephones, cell phones, PDAs, remote controls, microwaves, televisions, cables, etc.

- For proper disposal of all other electronic waste, including kitchen appliances, fans, and desk lamps, contact: Property Disposition at 764-2470
