Green Chemistry

OSEH Environmental Stewardship has developed many pollution prevention (P2) programs to reduce hazardous waste in laboratories across campus. These initiatives focus on source reduction, product substitution and re-use and recycling to provide cost-effective alternatives to traditional waste disposal options. If you have an idea about a P2 opportunity or would like OSEH to visit your lab to evaluate and discuss green chemistry techniques, please contact Megan Lazar (936-5238 or meglazar@umich.edu) or Dr. Sudhakar Reddy (763-4615 or redv@umich.edu) for more information.
