Dashboards

Track U-M progress toward climate action, carbon neutrality and sustainability.

U-M is on pace to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent by 2025, which exceeds UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change guidance to reduce emissions by 45 percent by 2030. U-M committed to eliminating 100 percent of Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2040 — ten years ahead of the IPCC's global net-zero target.

The dashboard below covers Ann Arbor campus sustainability metrics in energy, greenhouse gas emissions, transportation, waste, and land and water use.

The interactive map below covers an initial series of green bonds (2022B) that are advancing university sustainability and carbon neutrality efforts.

The dashboard below displays utilities, emissions, and other energy data for individual U-M buildings. The Office of Campus Sustainability provides additional energy data.

The dashboard below tracks Ann Arbor campus waste by building, type and destination.
